Default Greeting cards in the mail - - -

If it's a choice between getting a birthday card or a "just because" card or a Christmas/Holiday card in the mail - I would rather get a birthday card or "just because" card - because that shows that the person was really thinking of me - rather than just being part of a herd or duty pile.

How do you feel about getting/sending cards?

I'm not very good about sending cards, but I do appreciate birthday and just because cards/notes.

I'd rather get a birthday or just because card, too. When I lost one of my dogs recently, I got a couple of sympathy cards in the mail. They were much appreciated.

I like sending birthday, anniversary and just because cards. Dollar Tree has Hallmark cards 2/$1 which makes it so affordable.

My card-sending habits have changed greatly over the years. I used to send cards all the time to many folks. Now it's usually just a birthday card - to a smaller group - and Christmas cards. When I do Christmas cards, however, I always include a personal note inside the card so it's not a 'herd' thing. I do enjoy getting the 'just because' cards.

I think Christmas cards are a lovely tradition, and don’t see it as herd mentality at all.

I like cards, both sending and receiving. I still send Christmas cards because I add personal notes to them.

There is something so special about receiving cards (non-Christmas) and letters from friends.

I send birthday cards and Christmas cards although the Christmas list has dwindled over the years. I only send those cards to people who send me one.

I love receiving cards in the mail for whatever reason.

I love sending cards and getting cards but with the postage and cost of the cards it is getting to be beyond what my budget can afford. So I just send to my grand kids and for gifts.
