Besides greeting cards, I also send postcards throughout the year. I no longer write long letters, but find notes on postcards fun to do and a nice surprise for the recipients.

I buy my cards at Dollar Tree, 2/$1.00. A birthday card really make a person feel special, to know you took the time to remember and send the card. I send a lot of birthday cards, makes me as happy as the person receiving the card. I make a list of the next months birthdays, shop for them, address and get them ready to go then put in the corner where the stamp goes the date I need to put it in the mail box. My system works good for me. FYI- My dollar tree is now carrying Hallmark cards in their 2/$1.00 line.

I send a lot of birthday, anniversary, thinking of you and sympathy cards. I also send a lot of Christmas cards to all I send the others too. I love them all. The Christmas cards I get are all hung around the doorways and those decorate my living room too. They are gorgeous. And I only send 'Christmas' cards, with the exception of the two of our friends who are Jewish and celebrate Hannakuh. They send us religious Christmas cards. I then save the tops from the cards and make Christmas boxes out of them for jewelry, trinkets, gift cards, etc.

So did I! So unexpected and so appreciated.
