Has anyone put vinyl on the inside ? I am wanting to make an insulated one for wet and frozen items . I am not sure how that would work . I am welcoming any and all tips . Thanks , Annie

that sounds like an interesting idea. Maybe heavy plastic too would work, years ago i made kids bags with heavy plastic inside for the pockets to store crayons and books in, that held up good.

I think its a great idea!! Here's a use for those old vinyl tablecloths that are getting really ugly! Are you going to line it with insul brite? I would check the cost out in doing this though, because I've picked up good size insulated bags from Sam's Club that were less than $10 and work great!!!

Use laminated fabric. There is a place near me called tatermash oilcloth, and they make amazing fabric.

They also make about a dozen kinds of bags. THey only have two store and one is a couple of blocks away from me. But going in there is a splash of color and life! Their fabric is laminate with vinyl, holds up amazingly well and is as easy as sewing with cotton that's been starched to death. also machine washable. (Just hang out to dry)

Check out www.tatermash.com. They are also really nice people building a small business in this economy!
