welcome. my hair is white for the most part and i just cut it a bit myself. I was growing it longer but it got to be a bit difficult. sigh. I'll never get it long.
when growing out color years ago, i went and had it bleached as light as they could get it. worked fine.

I just wished I had a way to keep my hair. Heard about biotin and some special shampoos but don't seem to work.

I am having massive hair loss due to a poor diet since my lapband surgery 16 months ago..

Biotin does work but you need about 5,000mg a day!
It also works best if you are using Folic acid and zinc as well!
I do use an organic biotin shampoo I found at Amazon.com and it has really helped....

I also stopped cutting layers in my hair and went one length...it is fuller and thicker looking now for sure!

My Dr. also said lack of protein will cause it to fall out for sure! Though so could hormone imbalance and thyroid issues!

Thanks Jacquie! I tried the 1000 mg of biotin for just a couple of days but couldn't tolerate it. I think there is a 300 mg I might try. My immune system is kin of funky with vitamins and herbs. I started using head and shoulders shampoo last week thinning it might make my hair root healthier ;-) The biotin shampoo might be a way to go. Will check that out. I am familiar with the Amazon site. I do have thyroid and hormone issues going on too so know that doesn't help my problem any. It is gradually falling out....could be because I am getting older too....late 50's. Thanks again for the info!

Thank you Ditty! I checked on the Internet and found out Nexus has a biotin shampoo and vitamin b complex vitamin for hair. Going to give the vitamins a try because it doesn't have such high potency biotin in it!
