I just have to tell us this. I do have some Vintage/Retro Coca~Cola print on ebay now it started at $5.00 for 1 yard. Now it is up to $13.00. I think this is crazy. Why would anyone paid that for 1 yard?

People sometimes get carried away on E Bay, I think it's the nature of the auction concept!

Joan, I think you are right. I am thankful that something is selling I have close to 30 items up for sell. And this is the only one that has a bid. I was hoping to sell enough to buy a studio Accuquilt.

I used to regularly sell on E Bay (dolls and doll related items, old stuff) and the last time I listed 10 items and only sold one. The economy is really affecting E Bay.........

(there was a time when people would occasionally "fight" over an item and I was realize an unreasonable profit.....lol)

I agree with you but another thing that really gets me is the postage they want.
The other day I found some knitting worsted yarn I needed. I would not have bought it if I could find it any where else cheaper. But I paid enough in postage I could have bought 3 extra skeins.
The same goes for fabric. If you have a store close sometimes you can buy the fabric cheaper there than you can on e-bay.

YOu are right! I do a lot of shopping on e-bay, but you have to watch the shipping prices and figure that in. They are listed as shipping and handling charges and they can charge as much as they want for the handeling part. Plus some people are not careful to ship the cheapest way, just wanting it easy.
Things I have been selling are not going too well lately, but I am hoping things will pick up as we head into the holiday season!

sewmuchmore, what is your eBay seller name? (If you don't mind putting it here.) I buy most of my fabric, quilting supplies, pattern books, and a little of everything else on eBay. I'll put you on my "Favorite Sellers" list.

My niece is crazy about anything coco cola My sister in law just bought her a coca cola vending machine that really works and keeps the food cold. I went to a yard sell found coca cola material that had Santa Claus holding a bottle of coke up to his mouth. I'm sharing it with her.
