Gorgeous animals!! My daughter has a boxer and she just had to have one put down. It broke her heart, but the dogs health was getting so bad. I wish you were closer.

Some people still do for breed standard. And especially if they show in an form.
It is very slowly dying out though some vets are now declining to dock tails and ears. Just like some will no longer declaw cats.
It is a personal preference and if it is done by a licensed vet with pain meds and the pups are taken care of its acceptable. I personally wouldn't do it.
They are really cute puppies and their mom is gorgeous. I had one foster that gave birth and it was neat to have puppies for awhile.
