Well after last Wednesday's useless trip to the GW I still went again today. Got a new king size sheet set for $5. I have a queen size bed so I took a seam down the middle of it and cut off the excess so it fits nice and tight. Took a few inches off the flat sheet and just got finished making up my bed with my new sheets! Gotta love a bargain. Got 7 shirts and a pair of jeans for my granddaughter and only spent $21 on everything. It was a better day but still no quilting material. Have to keep looking!!

Still got a great deal! I would have passed them up, never gave a thought to making them fit!

just look through the men's shirt racks for good quality quilting cottons! there can be 2 yards of great usable cotton fabric in a mans shirt. no reason to limit yourself to just flat pieces- it doesn't take much to cut apart a shirt- or a skirt-jumper---those can have 3-6 yards of great usable fabric!
