Grew up with flour sack dish towels. I learned to embroider making them. I can't tell you how many sets I have worn out in my lifetime. Yours is very pretty. Enjoy them and keep up the great work. It is fun to have such pretty personal household linens around the house. They do soften with washing and use.

You did a beautiful job. I had to read the post twice to see which one was the back. You truly did make it look as good as the front! Love Hand Embroidery!

Susan I remember using these. That was back when everyone dried their dishes.lol. My mom had lots of them. The days of the week with that days chore, chickens, flowers all sorts of pictures embroidered on them. Yours are very nice. They get so soft and absorbing after several washings.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the nice comments. My mother always embroidered them, and my dear mother in law said, "Don't ever stop doing things like that, because some people have quit doing things as they once did."

I love having the little touches of embroidery on my things. Although my back never looks as good as yours.

It looks beautiful. The weave should tighten as you wash it over and over again.
