Default Do Numbers Make You Think of Stuff?

Whenever I see 208 I think of my birthday. Feb. 8.
Am I the only one who sees numbers and my mind connects with something completely different?

If I see group of numbers that are the same as an old address, I will smile for nano second.....

612, 912, 1212

612 (June 12) my birthday
912 (Sept 12) hubs and my anniversary
1212 (hubs birthday

So as not to make anyone think about it I will explain.
3 months after my birthday hubs and I met (he posted
an ad on Yahoo Personals and within 5 minutes I replied).
3 months after that is his birthday.

I am exactly 6 months to the day OLDER than hubs. We
have always said that 3&12 are our "numbers"

412 is part of my license plate number, and 4/12 was the
DUE date for my grandson (he came 1 day late).

When I was young married and bored to death left at home all day while DH worked, I took a numerology class. When I see numbers, dates, birthdays, I automatically add and covert to one number. I don't believe in it but can't stop my mind from doing the math. I was tested and told in HS that I had an eidetic memory. I never pursued it. It's frustrating to remember something and be the only one that does and every one else thinks you dreamed it. I'm not/ wasn't a genius like Sheldon Cooper, just can remember everything.

I had a second grader once who saw numbers as colors. He had Asperger's Syndrome and was gifted in math.

I do too! I count the number of pieces as I chain stitch, count blocks as I press them , etc. No reason to, my mind just does it!

Have no idea why, but I always am looking for combinations of numbers or items to make a total of 13. Like, I want to get the first 13 blocks of a quilt done before I stop for a while, or get 13 copies made for a paperpiecing block before I start it.
