Question for Accuquilt users
My friend is not a quilter, but she uses decorative fabric circles on the tops of jars of herbal tea.
At what point (# of circles cut/amount of time possibly saved) would it be cost effective for her to purchase an Accuquilt if this is the only thing she would use it for?

You can check the Accuquilt website to see if they have the size she needs and the cost of the die. Is there is any chance that she knows someone that has the unit? They may let her borrow it or come over and use it. If they don't have the die she needs then maybe she could buy the die for the use of the machine. When my friend wants to use my GO she asks to come over and play and we usually make an afternoon of it.

It will not be cost effective to buy an AccuQuiltGo cutter ($249.00 is the usual price) and a circle die (at least $20.00). The suggestion of borrowing the use of the cutter is excellent, though, even after buying the die.

I don't know if Sizzix or AccuQuilt or any cutter makes a circle cut big enough for the top of a jar. Your friend needs to do some internet research before she spends the $$$ on a cutter she may not be able to use.
