I did those last yrs too! Couldn't bear to give sweet looking leftovers away or without a purpose for them so I used them as "focus" on the cuff part of pillowcases ,Kids love'em like it was made especially for them!

These make great pillowcases for guests. My DMIL wants to come visit after the holidays. We never get any guests and have turned the extra bedroom into my sewing room. I knew one day this would happen. She's thinking February. So now DH is trying to figure out what to do. On Facebook there is a bed (tried to post it) that looks like a wooden box. Opens into a full size bed. I'm supposing we can get any size we want. I figure I will see about that and a blow up mattress. I have enough sheets from estate sales I was going to use for backing. Dh just wants to pick up a folding cot. Those just suck! Told him while she's here he could sleep on it and she could sleep with me. Then he said ok to the bed we will look into it. These pillowcases are a super idea. I'm working on a GMFG and hoping I will have it finished for her when she gets here. Not worried about the sewing room since she sews and wants to bring a few things to work on. Might have to look for a different house. Oh well! Just love these pillow cases!
