I'm so happy for your son and for you, my 8 yr old grandson also has Asberger's and I worry about those type of things.

Poorly, all the way around. His grades are low, he doesn't see the need to study or pay attention in class. I have to really work hard with him to keep his grades up. He doesn't have a lot of friends, but the ones he does have are good ones, that don't judge him.

That is super! I love the quote in your signature, by the way. So very true. My niece, age 11, was diagnosed initially with autism, later revised to Asperger's. We all love her and I do appreciatae your joy.

You have to be over the moon! What a milestone. I am so very happy for you. Did he make the first step, or did she?

My DGS is autistic - almost non-verbal, but the girls have been VERY attracted to him since he began school - maybe because he's so handsome! He doesn't quite know what to do about it, though!
