It's either a ham radio operator or a CB radio that's overriding your signal.

That's odd! I've never had that happen! Made me think of the onl party lines on the phone when I was a kid. If I dialed my own phone number I could hear other people talking. Can you imagine THAT happening today?@!! haha!

You have someone in your area that has a really tall
transmitting station (tower).
Years ago we could pick them up on our TV.
Quite annoying.

Sounds like soundwave interference with CB radio somewhere close by.

in the late '70's, I was gearing up for a major clean-up, had the stereo on, between records..... when I heard in my totally quiet house---F**K it, why bother,I'm not doing it!-- whoa! I looked around to see who was reading my mind....I put my record on & got busy! Decided it had to be a XB bleed over that the tuner picked up---BUT the timing was just perfect!! LOL!!!

Baby monitors and intercoms can also come across. our neighbors had an intercom between the house and shed just like we did and we heard each other until we changed channels.

My baby moniter & my neighbors down the street were on the same channel. I changed mine real quick.

Sounds like a ham operator. I have heard of people talking thru the internet also being picked up.
