Default Heat Wave

120 degrees here with heat index! Yesterday, winds made it feel like walking out into a heated blow dryer! I overheat just walking from house to truck, so I plan all errands in the AM. This is a silly complaint, but, I can't even get into the pool until after 3. The beach is about 10 degrees cooler, so, only 110?

Isn't it awful. I'm down to cleaning my sewing room just to have something to do. Horrors! LOL.

It’s awful here also. We've had 15 straight days of 100°+ temps. My A/C is struggling. No letup in sight. 🥵🥵

Hot here too but I'm okay with it. We got a new A/C this spring so it's cool in my house and I just don't go outside unless I have to.

I'd rather have the heat than the cold. I live in FL and it's humid too but I'm still playing golf 3-4 times a week. I drink a ton of water and eat light snacks all day.

We have finally gotten a break in the heat and some much needed rainfall so the air conditioning is getting a rest. Last night it was down to 58 degrees! The next week it will only be in the 70s, which will be nice. Hopefully some of the cooler air will find its way south soon.

We just had storms and 2 1/2 days without electricity. Some in the area still don't have it. But that is better than the heat!!!

Hot here too. We have a clear slate bed running creek in the backyard and the water is always cold. My grands love to play in it. It's not very deep. I set under the trees watching them play. We wanted a water feature but not a pool maintenance. The creek is perfect.

I have to agree with you on that. As I get older the cold gets harder to take, but the hot is fine with me.
