I have two helper or hinders depending on their mood. Love it when my 20# male, Reggie wants to get on the machine cabinet when I'm trying to attach the binding. Can't understand that I need all the space.

it's impossible to work under these conditions. IT WON'T MOVE with dead weight on it! It's supposed to be "free motion". Someone call security on this little fur ball. He's in my way and has no intention what-so-ever of getting out of it.
