I need to be able to copy my resume and paste into a company site online. i do so dislike this new Word program. the 2010 version is not user friendly. I can't hightlight anything and copy. I used to with my older version.
anybody know how to appcomplish this??
i can download fine, but this companies site wants it pasted. short of typing the whole thing in there, i'm at a loss.

Try placing your cursor anywhere in the document and then hitting ctrl A and see if that works. If it does then ctrl c and ctrl V to paste.

have you tried copy instead of cut? Maybe it's naming this document a "template", and won't allow alterations.

question....are you able to copy the text but not able to paste it onto the internet?

Some websites do not allow you to paste text into their text boxes. Sucks I know. If this is the case you will have to retype it all into their text box.

That's too cool. I love this quiltingboard and the power we have together as a team. It is awesome. I didn't know the answer for you, I was concerned and came to check back in on your post. So happy Spudgm was there.

Good job on the title!
If I might make a point for users reading this: Look closely at the title of her post. If she had only said "help with" or something with no nouns, Spudgm might have passed this post by for one she thought she could help with.
The more precise the title the faster the help can get there.
