My heart and prayers go out to you. I am just getting fixed up from straight line wind damage. I needed a new roof but at least I did not have a hole in it like you. God Bless you.

But is the van sitting in front of the house OK? Younger brother went over to uncle's place and cleaned up around there for them. Tonight said he was going back to Kensal to look at another roof. We found a few downed large trees, but they are in the original shelterbelt; so not much damage, just clean-up.

Glad no one got injured!

Wow so glad everyone is ok and that tree didn't go any further! We had a bad wind storm here last week we have 50yr old trees behind our property and while I was standing on the deck heard a loud crack and watched the tree get cut in half and it landed in our pool with the ends of the snapped area still hanging on about 15 ft in the air. Had to get a tree cutter to come but it was a bit of a wait. Hope you don't have long to wait for your repairs.
