We have neighbors who do a lot of cruises, and they say there are older folks who live on the cruise ships for the same reasons. They do have to change rooms periodically, though, but get good rates and a chance to travel. cool idea!

I'm forwarding this to my son who says he's got my spot all picked out! I'm new to working with mostly-sweet oldsters in a nursing home, and I've been promising him that I'll be compliant when my time comes.... I want to be a sweet oldster like my mom and dad were...

    thanks for the laugh!!

Well now, I didn't realize retirement could be so much fun and think of the money saved.

Love it! And they don't care if you are a little bit goofy. You can even sew there.

We met a lady that does that. The ships crew actually adopted her and gave her special recognition and she wears a crew's ID tag. She often travels the same ship back to back.
