Default Doll 166 in time for Christmas

There is an eight year old child being raised by a grand-mother. They just discovered that she has cancer. A lady that sings as part of our churches small 'praise team' for Sunday morning song part of the service knows this child and told me about her. She will see to it that the doll is delivered. The child lives near her and over 30 miles of curving mountain roads away from my town. I thought you all might enjoy seeing the doll she will be getting. The child is a Native American.

This is doll number 166, for very sick kids.

The doll is a topsy turvy or a two in one doll. the nightgown part (inside) is on the bottom.

I love this, Word. Topsy turvy dolls are a very old idea. I love the rekindling of this idea. You put a lot of effort into your dolls. Barb P.

This doll is by now in the arms of its new 'mama'. I heard of two little ones in need of a doll for comfort at church. molested 2 year old girl now in foster care, and a 3 year old that will never be free of medical issues and her need for more surgeries. I hope to find out more later this week so I can see about getting a doll for them.

    thanks for your replies.
