Exterminator came out and took the hive out of the attic. It was pretty big, Just fit in a five gallon bucket. He said he had the queen in the hive, then he put the cover on the bucket to smother the live hornets. Sprayed the attic and used his dry vac and cleaned up piles of dead hornets and left! Now I have a huge (covered) hole in my living room ceiling! Hopefully my son will fix that when they come for a visit. Glad to be home in my own bed and not worried about getting stung!

Where in Michigan are you?? Thanks for the offer..it's the thought that counts! We weren't there long enough to get bored, we got there late at nite and I went to work the next morning, my husband waited in the yard for the exterminator!
