My daughter {teenager at the time, now 32}was telling the hen at the bottom of the pecking order, "poor Baby!" {smooch, smooch} and the hen gave her a good peck on the lip! She was holding the hen, not actually kissing it.

When we were kids at the fairs and such we always petted and fed the animals by hand. Never got sick either! Now the "Powers that Be" tell everyone that they need to use alcohol wipes to avoid the "GERMS"!! Why is it then that kids seem to get sicker more often since antibacterial soaps and wipes are everywhere petting zoos are found??
