I've heard that one also uncooked rice will work. Have never had to try that but did try to wash my phone with my cloths and it took awhile to dry out then it quit just as I was phoning relatives to announce the arrivial of a new baby to the family. That was almost 6 yrs ago and about 2 yrs ago bought an iPhone to use on the net when I do not have my laptop with me.

I was told to put a wet phone in a sealed bag of rice. It worked the first time, the second time was just to much. I was wondering how you were doing, just thought you were having so much fun, you didn't have time to get on-line. Did you ever get the FW table?? You haven't missed much here except for the giant skeeters.

The real issue is regular status, right? I'm wondering why and who decided comments constituted regular status. I check this board every day and enjoy checking it out, but I don't always comment if I can't add a comment that hasn't already been expressed. It seems often you read through redundant comments that just take up a lot of time, time better spent quilting. I would like to see it based on how long you have been a board member.

I agree! Why do you have to comment on everything you read to become a regular?? It takes too much time when you want to sew and quilt! Not fair that you have to have a title!
