About five minutes. I had a question that I posted, and within half an hour, I had the answer - thank you everyone. I love it here

I joined but then waited at least 6 months, before I started participating. Now I wonder why I did that. I love this site and the people who share all their beautiful pictures and turorials, and advice. I don't visit everyday, but I do visit often.

I lurked, sort of, for about 3 mos. I got the newsletter and clicked on the topics there but did not venture onto the board for a couple months.

It took me apx 1 1/2 years. During that time I lurked everyday and learned alot of things. I also would tell my husband that I was going to get on computer and check to see what my quilting buddies or girls were up too. He would just laugh and say "Why don't you just go ahead and register? It will be so much more fun!" Now he says "when can I use the computer?" lol

I forget how I learned of the QB, but I joined immediately - no lurking
Things vanish from my mind if I don't act right away.

I lurked about a month because I doubted my computer skills. I am still not very techy but I am learning new stuff everyday.

About 2 seconds. As soon as I found out I had to join to order a pattern from Dunster I joined.
