We live in a sub-division and had about 150. They were lined up from front door to the sidewalk, 25 at a time.ha. I bought at least 15 or 20 big bags of candy. Went right through it. But I had a really good time looking at costumes, while Husband watched TV. And all of the kiddos always said thank you. So nice. Barny

We live in a subdivision city north of Houston -- we had less than 8 groups (2 or 3 kiddies plus parents each time) -- lots of good candy left over -- we were surprised that we had so few!!

We live in the country and I bought 10 large candy bars to give out and we had zero trick or treaters.

We live in a cute community called Verrado. My street is on a dark cul de sac so we put up some spotlights and had a little block party and also invited family. We went through 3 big bags of candy, but over on Main St. there were hundreds of kids. I walked around with my nephews and I've never seen anything like it. People drove their kids to the neighborhood. The Ghostbusters car was driving around passing out Twinkies. We enjoyed our little party so much that we are going to make it an annual event.

We do trick or treating at our church, we call it Trunks of Treats, providing a very safe environment for the kids. We also do free hot dogs, games, crafts, we have a photographer who does portraits for free (for those in costume) . We had 500 trick or treeaters!

We did not have any, most of our neighborhood does not give out candy. A few reasons, but most importantly the kids are attending church functions, or parties sponsored for them.. Just not safe out there anymore for our children.

None, last year we had 2 . I didn't buy candy this year because I'd wind up eating it.

Our whole complex is under reconstruction, raising the buildings 6 inches before we slip into the water! so...I usually get 10 or 12 kids every year, this year it was a big fat 0. We knew that was going to happen, but it did not stop my husband from buying a HUGE bag of candies.
