HOT HOT HOT here in central Texas, wildfire cautions, no fireworks to be sold this year. Lord please send Texas some MUCH NEEDED RAIN!!

Hot! 104 degrees hot! It went from cold, thunder, lightening and hail 2 1/2 weeks ago to 80-90 degrees, now in the 100's. Weird!!

Usually we say, "It's not the heat... it's the humidity." But ... it's the HEAT. 102 today. Windy, but not as bad as lately. Rain was in the forecast, but I think they're teasing us. Or - waiting for the roofers to get the old shingles off the house. SO far, they're replacing boards in the eaves.
