No snow here in central Illinois. It is supposed to get up to 37 today.

My relatives in SW Virginia had over 12 inches of snow when I talked to them yesterday. Phones and lights were out because it was a wet, heavy snow and had broken lines.

WOW........Miranda........

when I receive a post from someone that I hadn't heard from before, I go into their history so that I might acquaint myself with them.........and
WOW again....you are some busy lady.

I guess maybe a half-century ago, I kept a lot busier also..but I do think you have me beat.

I did a lot of other things in my youth but now I am happy just to do my quilting...which in that, I include any crafty things that come across my sewing table.

I also enjoy with the hubby, going to Atlantic City
(which is only 60 miles south)and playing the blazing slots or sitting at one of their tables..... Good thing, we weren't there yesterday...
can you imagine being marooned in a casino !!!!!!!!!!

Someone told me that WV has a lot of outages and no heat......sure hope that you aren't one of them

Enjoy your day as best you can...our one son and DIL are here trying to dig us out..........MaryJane

Yes! WV is in the dark! They are restoring the power, and it is on a mile from us! We have our phones back, too.
Our back-up is our generator. It's taking a lot of gas, but well worth it! I've heard that our elec. may be on by 11pm. I hope! I worry about everyone who doesn't have a generator or back-up heat. I think my mom lost a lot of frozen foods.

We've always had a gas cooking stove, mainly for this reason.

Atlantic City sounds like fun (but not tonight). Our neighbors go there. I think she is from NJ, near AC.

Busy!? Who? Me? I'm not as busy as I was last year being PTO secretary, Box Tops coordinator, etc. I'm overwhelmed to say the least...
