Looks like those of you on the East coast need to hunker down or even evacuate because of her. This is a disclaimer-----just because my middle name is Irene, it's not my doing. My DDG with the same middlle name is claiming no responsibility either. LOL

In all seriousness---good luck to all and stay safe.
Years ago we rode out a hurricane in Maine. It was scary.

You are in our prayers

In 1972, we had the results of a hurricane - severe flooding! Really don't want that again! But they have built flood control in this are to help - a dam and lots of dikes. So far, we have dodged that bullet since, thanks be to God!

On our news this afternoon, the weather people said we are going to get hit Saturday night and all day Sunday. There is going to be a new moon which normally means high tides, but with this hurricane there will be flooding and beach erosion.

Y'all don't wait too late to evacuate. If you're going, go early because everyone else will be on the road too. And you don't want to be stuck in a traffic jam during a hurricane.

I am praying that the Lord will take the sales out of the winds and turn it out to sea even though we need the rain.
