PFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTT, I am in PA and right now I have AT LEAST a foot of snow on the ground lol. I love quilting on a rainy day and not so darn cold! I am lucky though, I am retired and I can stay home and stay warm.

    Sharon,

My sister lives in Harmony, NC. less than 1 hour from Charlotte, they were getting sleet and rain, but still had snow on the ground from the first of the week. Did you not get snow this past week, even Greenville, NC had 6 inches.

It is that crystally sparkely beautiful snow. You look out and you see glimmer and glisten. It is quiet and fresh. I love it.

I was so sleepy earlier, I couldn't remember where Route 80 was, although of course I know. I've traveled along it several times. It's a beautiful part of the state. You're a good ways north of me. I'm just south of the turnpike.

Well, I zapped out early and now I'll be awake for much of the night. Missed seeing it snow, though it had gotten misty out before I went to bed. It's still very misty, not snowing, but we got some of the good stuff - that sparkly white stuff you were talking about - to cover the sickly wet stuff and now it's very beautiful out there.

Still only about 3 - 4 inches total so far. I'm feeling deprived!

When I went out earlier to feed the goat, chickens, and one dog, the newest snow came up to the bottom of my knee cap-that's 18" of snow and it is still falling. We had ice pellets earlier. We are expecting about 8-10 more tom. No fireplace, but enjoying it just the same.
Maybe I will try to sled down the driveway tom. What a blast that is. What will the neighbors think? Who cares!

I'm north of Pittsburgh and we were supposed to get 8-10inches. Please tell my dog that's all we got because he went out the door and it's up to his head!! DH measured and we have at least 18 inches and it's still coming down pretty hard. It's beautiful but you can see the power lines are strained and towns around us are without electricity. It' also very windy and some of the drifts are over 2ft high. I thought I lived in civilization--not a frozen Siberian tundra LOL!!
Stay warm and safe and home everyone-good quilting day.

Hi from Western PA, where we have 20" of snow right now, and another 1-3 expected today... and the furnace isn't working! Thank goodness we have a wood stove, and some wood in the house, so at least one room is warming up a little as we get the wood stove cranked up. I'd rather have the rain, thank you!! :-)
