Welcome Back!!!! It's tough getting back into the swing of things when there's so much to do! But you'll get there! Enjoy your new surroundings!

Welcome back to the Board. So sorry you can't get to your sewing materials yet, but stay in touch. Glad your move is over. Take your time getting everything straightened out. I've told my children that I am here in the lake house until they move me to the nursing home or the funeral home, whichever comes first!

Christine, We are not far from wickham market and they have the most fantastic quilting shop there!

Hugs and thanks to you all for your kind and uplifting words.

Hugs

There was no quilting shop when I lived there, but have heard that news from my best friend's mum who lives in Wickham Market. She comes over here every couple of years and we have loads of fun shopping and sewing. We will have to stay in touch! Christine

Welcome back!!! Yes, it really does get a lot harder as we get older. I told DH that I am NOT doing the next move. I don't care what it costs, I am hiring movers!!!!! LOL

One box a day, and before you know it, you will be done!!

Hugs

Patti

Hello Caroline. So glad that you got moved . the worst part is over. You owe it to yourself to peek in the boxes till you find at least a pattern book, or material. You just need a jolt of Sewing to get you setteled. Best of Luck to you.

We just moved too!!!! We only moved few feet. All the furnishings from living room, sitting room and Kitchen, so we could get a painter. Then decided to do carpets before we moved back. Only had to wait 2 days. By then both of us got ill and saw a Dr. And feel terrible. Now we are waiting for our married kids to come and help. That`s as far as I will move. I came to this house, 53 yrs ago and only had one suit case.
