I am actually staying at their house. I'd never let them in my house! lol I think I may be allergic to the dogs.
She left the check with me so I cashed it yesterday. Probably the highlight of the week!
My free time today was spoiled by a phone call to pick one of them up at school. :(

It sounds like they are playing you. Set the rules. HAve them get out their homework. That should keep them quiet for hours. Make them have you correct the work. Good luck. I used to take kids all the time. Never had any trouble with them becasue i had the parents set the rules in front of me before hand.

Jan in Va has some good advice. Lay down the rules.
Then, keep them extremely busy. Occupy them with craft projects. Games, team building. Look stuff up online you can do with them. Wear them out. I know all 6 have ADHD right?
Maybe if you have a reward at the end of the week... Give them all a dozen somethings. When they misbehave take one. At the end of the week, the kid with the most ? left is the winner. Reward that one and thank the others for playing. Kiss them all goodbye and if you're asked to do it again, they'll know how to behave at your house. Maybe it'll be better and you can still ask for more money next time. If not, practice this: "NO, NO, Not Again"
