I just found out my daughter is going to have a baby. The Dr. thinks she's about 7 weeks, is going for ultra sound next week. She is 38 and just got married in April, never thought she would have a baby but now she's scared because of her age. Doesn't want to tell anyone until after first trimester, just in case. Now I'm thinking of baby crib quilt, something bright and different, any suggestions.

Congrats!!! Tell your daughter not to worry ... I have a cousin that started her family when she was 39. All was well. Enjoy planning on a baby quilt. :)

Tell her not to be scared. I had my first at 40. Healthy, lovely, boy. Just take all precautions and do the genetic counseling. Congrats to your family!

How Wonderful!!! If you thought you loved your kids just wait until you hold that Grand baby. There is nothing else like it. Your heart will never be your own again.

I don't think age matters today. My DIL is having number 4. First son is 4, second is 2, third is 1 nad pregnant with first girl. She started at 35. So. I think she will have a fantastic pregnancy and baby. Congratulations to you all.
