I put an ad in freecycle.org. The ad said looking for quilting items mostly quilting items and I got 3 responses 2 were just ads for other sites and 1 was someone wanting me to make them a t-shirt quilt. Of course I said no because she was already being particular and the ad was not an offer to make quilts at all. I just don't get people these days. I know some have had a good experience and I am glad for them. Why are people like this? Each time I got am e-mail I got excited til I started reading it. I'm sorry I'm just frustrated!!!!!!!!!!

It's similar except it is a free site where you post what you are looking for or what you are giving away. No one is allowed to charge for any items that are offered out or try to charge for what someone is wanting. I hope this explains to clearly enough. I used it once to give away an aquarium and it was a good experience.

http://www.freecycle.com is one of the Yahoo Groups

It is fun, sign up and get rid of a lot of stuff you don't want or don't have time to sell. Great people!

    Blessings,
    Ruth

Did she think you would be asking for fabric and then make her a free quilt? Although she might be someone that really needs one. I don't know. Its hard to tell what some people are thinking..
