I hurt my foot recently, and I can't sew!! I'm so bummed!
I had all sorts of projects planned now that it's September, and I have a 1st grader and a pre-schooler..... but I can't, until my foot heals!! Waaaaaaa!!!!!
I have phlebitis....it's a swollen vein in my foot...it hurts to walk.... I just wanna cry!!!
OK, I'll stop complaining now, you guys are the only ones who understand!!!
Thanks for listening!!

Can you use your other foot? that is what I did when I injured my right foot. It was a bit of a learning curve, but I managed.

Hope it heals quickly for you!

I'm sorry to hear about your foot. I had a problem with my arm for 4 days and I couldn't sew. I hope your foot heals quickly before the withdrawals set in.

Helps to have a machine with a start/stop button (no feet required).

Ouch!!! That can really hurt!! If you can get some arnica (Arnica montana) from the pharmacy or health food store, it is good for that. It is also helpful for minor bruises and muscle strains.....Hope you feel back to normal soon! :D

Phlebitis can be extremely dangerous Do you have superficial phlebitis? That is usually caused by varicose veins, painful but not as dangerous. I hope you feel better soon.

That's what I have. It took a little while to get used to it, but now I love it.

Bless your heart! I am so sorry to hear about your foot. Please try the other foot and if that doesn't work challenge yourself to do some hand piecing and quilting. You may find, as I did, that it is very enjoyable. It you don't want to do that, then use your time to look through quilting magazines and plan your next project. Best wishes for a fast and complete healing.
