I've " kicked" a few habits - at first it bothered, but now not so much. Pyrex in " crazy daisy" pattern, hard to walk away, but I only buy if cheap. Texas ware but don't see it often. I've got 2 round rubber donut holders for bobbins and I keep them full from the partial full spools of thread I've inherited ( twice). I throw plastic spools, keep wooden in a big glass jar.
