    I got the surprise of my life this morning!!

    My husband surprised me with this!

    Isn't she beautiful? I named her Sparrow.

    Her certificate does not say. But judging by her medallion I would guess Navajo or on of the Southwestern tribes.

    He does a very good job of surprising me. He also does an excellent job of making me laugh till my sides hurt.

    I guess I am going to have to make her one. I do have some Native American prints left over from a previous quilt.

    SHE IS BEAUTIFUL,I have one similar that a grand daughter bought me. I have her in my quilt display box along with a quilt my mom made in the 50's . that way I can see both of them anytime I walk by. My Mom was Cherokee Indian, reminds me of her when she was young.
    Freedom is costly and quilting keeps us busy...
