After a long summer of moving, going on vacaation, seeing family, we have finally arrived at our new duty station. we have been here for 2 weeks now and have not been able to find a house yet. We have put in for 2 and for some reason or another they have fallen through. Today is our 3rd attempt and we hope to get it. We have not been able to register the kids in school until we have a signed lease. Hoping to sign in tomorow so the kids can start on Tuesday. They are 2 weeks behind but we they are reselient and will be fine. I am looking forward to looking up the quilting stores in the area. I can't wait. We are at the library now catching up on our internet stuff so will take a look for them now. I have missed the quilting board and cant wait to get in a house and get the internet set up again. I know I have messaged some of you from San Antonio and can't wait to meet you. I noticed there is a quilting show the middle of September, anybody planning on going?

Welcome to Texas. You could not have picked a hotter summer to come here, though. Sorry. But the Spring is gorgeous! Good luck house hunting. I haven't decided about the quilt show yet. My friend will have her booth there, though.

One of my favorite cities. I had a small family reunion there in June. We had so much fun. Hope you find someplace to live soon.
