I am really happy that I stayed with this board. I'm learning my way around....truth be told, I was fairly new when the "big bang" happened, and wasn't an expert at getting around the old board anyway. We still have a LOT of interesting discussions about quilting. I also joined another board, but ....I'm missing the quilting......or maybe I just can't find it....seems like a lot of silly stuff on there. Anyway.....I'm glad I stayed!

I'm glad you stayed too - the more the merrier! I don't think there's another board anywhere with the same "family" feeling that we have here. Every time I'm here I discover something new about the board. Today it was that you can have both an avatar and a profile picture. Who knew?

Someone said if you click on "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the reply box, you can then subscribe to that thread if you would like, similar to old board that had the subscribe box already checked for you! Love the board and learning how to read "unread" threads or posts, based on the number of replies and the date the thread was last posted on.

well it's not working well today at all. took me over 3 hours to get in! now takes several tries to open posts!!

I am complaining a lot because I am so computer illiterate, but I am not going anywhere yet. I really do like the "family feel" here but I still can't find stuff I used to enjoy. Will keep trying, but it's not easy.
