This is a little different, but a couple of summers ago--no more than two--I got carded while buying some beer in the grocery store. I was in my fifties! I was with my 25-plus-year-old son! I couldn't believe it. I don't think I ever got carded even when I was younger. I can't remember a time. I thought the person was kidding, and I started laughing. She looked stern and said, "no really, let me see it." I said, "You are going to be so embarrassed." We had a good laugh when she saw how old I was and I walked over a picked up a bag of ice. As I walked past her, she said, pointing to the checker next to her, "She would have carded you too!" I would have left a tip if I could.

This is interesting. I have an arthritic lower back and bad knee also. My therapist said she did not think the shoes would be good for me...now I wonder. I might try them. Are they the Sketchers?

Ok... Now that everyone is going out and buying these shoes, are we expecting them to post before and after pictures of their butts for comparison?

I bought the Tony Little Exercise Sandals in the Summer in Zebra print. They have a 3 degree tilt, which makes the heel a little bit lower & it stretches out your calf, thigh & buttocks muscles. I had bilateral total knee replacements in Jul 09, so thought I needed to exercise my legs. I do deep knee bends, holding onto the kitchen counter & really feel the stretch. I'm looking online to see what I can get now in the way of a stationery exercise bike so I can row work my upper body. I had one about 25 yrs ago & I put my music off & pedal away. I have to work on my belly & arm fat. I've done a lot of walking & some running & still have shapely legs at 63. Got to get back my stamina so I can turn out my charity quilts that I'm behind on. I just changed Giraffe to Zebra above......sorry, got my animals mixed up.

My DD has a pair and she says they are like walking on a ball. I don't wear sneakers, never did except for PE class in school. If they really work I may have to change my shoe taste.

Yes they are. Give them a try you may be supprised at the results. As I said they have reduced the price quit a bit.

I just bought me a pair of those today!! Sure hope they work. I have been losing weight and hope to continue to do so. So I hope the shoes do what they are supposed to!
