Yup--that's it--just one photo. Professional photographers might say it's too distracting--but I really really like it (if my students wrote that line I'd give them a C-and tell them to sophisticate! )

I do have some Hummingbird shots to post someday...

    OMG! That's beautiful!
You can give me a C-- because I really, really, REALLY like it!
    Hummingbirds? Where are they?
Funny thing here and when we were in Hawaii. They sell hummingbird feeders, but there are no hummingbirds in either place. Go figure, huh? Cannot understand WHY they sell them.

Oh wow!!! I envisioned a quilt made of that hydraengae pattern fabric....in the blues, purples and reds, and with greens.....and in the same color sequence !!! Wouldn't that be awesome? I think it's my favorite picture, too!

Thanks--I knew someone would like it. :D

It's tough to get a Monarda and three different colors of Phlox in one photo.

Tink's mom--just on the barn quilt. I was thinking if this recently--printing off flower pics to create a quilt--like a log cabin pattern around them--or random borders and piece them all together...or toss in some other squares--log cabins or stars or 9 patches... hmmmm.....

I've seen pictures like this before, but as many times as I've been to/from CA, never been lucky enough to see it in person. Thanks for posting!

    Karla,
It's wonderful! Nature is really the best of the world, isn't it? I wish I could get a good shot of our hummers. They are just so beautiful and FAST!!!!

I'd love to visit California that's a beautiful shot! I really want to visit all the states, thinking selling the house and buying a travel trailer would suit me except for my sewing and my back...

    Hugs,

I've been staring & staring at your pic Karla. I've decided that it doesn't really have a defined single focal point....but it makes me feel like I'm sitting right in the midst of the plants! I just love it!!!! :D:D:D:D:D
