there are a few. but if I had to choose, I guess it swould be between all of the computerized gadgets ( phones, computers, ipods, on & on) and the tv shows we now have. eliminate those two.

Sundays were for church and visiting, family lunch together.

it would not be wringer washers. I did more than enough of that when i was still in jr high and high school. I had long hair and sometimes my hair got caught in the wringer.

I would like to live in a time when going to church on Sunday and a family dinner afterwards was to be looked forward to all week long.

Nightly News with Walte Cronkite. We had 1/2 hour and that was it! I personally can do without hours of rehashing the daily news as they are doing now.

Stores closed on Sunday!

Coming home from school and mom there with a home cooked meal plus dessert. Land lines with no answering machine.(Well my dad was the answering machine,Joe's bar! Many a guy hung up on that one.) After church on sunday having a large sit down meal with the family. We did more sharing face to face with family and friends. Camping during the summers with the thunder bucket and coleman lanterns. I cannot chose one there are so many fun/ good things/memories about the old days.
