If you could travel in time, would you go forward or back in history and why?

Back, definately. I always thought that I was born 100 years too late.

I would travel back AND forth in time, like Dr. Who...anyone know that show but me? (I've watched different WHO's through the years...but I like THIS one BEST!) Why? Because try as they might, even if recorded completely accurately, man's best effort still distort events somewhat. It would be amazing to be an eye witness at various events...then propel to an altogether time and place, etc. Never even thought about this before. Maybe after I think I'll give you a different answer!
WHAT ABOUT YOU? Would you travel forward or backward, and why???
Now, that I've given this a moment...if I HAD to choose one moment, it would be when the Lord returns for His Bride...because it gets so painful watching all the hurting in this fallen world. Don't mean to be a downer...but my honest reaction.

Me too...but I definitely appreciate air conditioning when it's 100 degrees and humid... LOVE the historic clothing, including the corsets...but I like it is not REQUIRED clothing, esp. when it's 100 degrees and humid...and air conditioning has not yet been invented. ;-)

Both I think. Back if I could be guaranteed that I could meet the people that I want to meet. Forward to see if our quilts survived the test of time and to see the improvements(?) that technology has made.

I'd go back....I have always loved history. But not to far back, I think the late 1800's.

I would travel forward to the time when diabetes is cured, and lymphoma, so I can see my brother again!

I'd go back to the late fifties - early sixties.....sock hops, poodle skirts, and saddle shoes!!! Tv Shows were family oriented and music was fun. Children played outside and enjoyed the simple things. Neighbors enjoyed each other and families got together on Sundays. I could go on and on. I was little then, but ohhhh the memories!!!
