That is one handsome young man. My daughter graduated there also. She only put in four years and so did her husband. Can't remember where he graduated from. My son spent 20 years in the army and served in Desert Storm and Iraq Freedom. When he was gonna get too come home his last tour for a rest, he told them to put him on the retire list cause 20 years was enough of overseas and war. Now he is beginnin to face depression and flashbacks from the wars. He said the other day, MOMMA there is just some things I can't talk about and I might not even be able to talk too the doctor about it either. I told him I was here if he decided too talk too me about anything. So can you all pray for him to get himself back to at least close too being back normal again/

Prayers for you and your family your son as you probably know is suffering from PTSD. I had the same situation and even after 10 yrs there's still sights and sounds that can trigger my flashbacks. The good news is he will be able to get through it, its going to be difficult at times but just love him through it. He will need to talk to someone whether its his pastor or other troops suffering through the same thing.

From one Army mom to another..thank you and your son for your service to all of us.

I'll keep both of you in my prayers. Sometimes it's hard to be an Army mom...I'm missing my daughter as I house/pet sit for her while she is deployed to Afghanistan.

My oldest son has been in the army 17 years. He loves his career but it has been hard on his dad and I. He is in Afghanistan (3rd tour in the mid east). Good luck to you and your family. I know the feeling of pride you feel with his accomplishments.

Thank you to you and your son. He's so handsome! May the LORD bless him and keep him. May the LORD be gracious unto your son and may He give you peace and joy.
