Well, I never technically left...but my hard drive on my laptop died ( I lost everything, including over 1,000 pictures from the last 2 years...all my photo's of my quilts...)
so I had to replace the hard drive and then for 3 days couldn't get the laptop to connect to my wireless network, but after getting a new router and getting set up with Time Warner Cable (I hate them) I'm finally back. I haven't touched any fabric or my machine since Thursday...this was a major set back in my Christmas gift making, but it sure does feel good to have my internet back!!

Reminds me I need to back up all my stuff to my external hard drive. I think about it when my computer is acting up, but then when it's back on track I forget. Making a note right now on my to do list, near the very top. Thanks. :D

I meant to do that a couple weeks ago when it was acting up. It got better so I forgot. Thus, I went out and got a 500gig Seagate so I'd have enough room to back up both of my computers.

It's a device that you hook up to your computer via the USB port, it backs up your main drive on your computer, usually your C: drive, all your photos, files, documents...usually it comes with the software preloaded so that when you plug it it, the program that suns the hard drive starts automatically.
