My grandson had a ballgame on Sat. Hes 9. It was very windy, cold and sprinkling, so I opted to sit in my car, facing the field (good view) and watch. After the game I took him out to eat. While eating he looked at me thoughtful and said, "Nana did you see that triple I hit?" I said sure and told him I was proud of him. He smiled and said " I didn't hit a triple Nana! You were sewing weren't you?" Busted! He said it was ok cause it was a lousy game anyway and no one was paying attention! What a bad Nana I'am! lol

Oh my goodness, what a clever grandson! Guess what Nana, you'll be sitting outside paying attention to his games from now on. Too funny!

I'm afraid there was no easy way out of this one. By answering yes you're caught in a fib. By answering no you're pretty much admitting that you weren't paying attention. Bet he still loves his Nana anyway.
