What's up with this? I seem to be making bags instead of quilting. I have three quilts in progress, but have not touched them in three weeks. I have made three bags instead. Does this happen often? What projects do you work on when you are not quilting?

Yep, I do this too. It's ok to mix it up a bit once in a while, isn't it?

Jo M, Where in the mitten are you? I'm at the bottom of the little finger.

I like to have different projects to clear my brain. Do a lot of bags, beading, anything to get away from it for a while. I've even been known to read all day and not even go into my sewing room. Am I still allowed to post on here now that you know that????

I get in little phases. Right now I have been making Bow Tucks, made 5 in the last week. If only I would put that energy to making my husband a quilt that I promised I would make some time ago!

Welcome to the world of Bags. A person can NEVER have enough bags and making your own adds a special quality that purchased ones never have. :)

Every once in awhile I pull out my beads and make a bracelet or necklace.

I have been making bags lately too but I also have 3 no 4 quilts on the go. I like to have some diversion when I get bored or frustrated with one thing. This way I can always have something different to work on.
