Karla, I don't think you have a thing in this world to worry about when it comes to being a good mother in law! :) You sound to me like you're doing an awesome job of being a top rate, well loved mother in law!

    Congrats! :)

It is so much fun to do things for people that appreciate it.

Seems like they have a good start already.

Congrats Karla! It sounds like you know what to do to be a good MIL! My motto is that I listen and only give advice when asked!

Congratulations!!!! :) I think you two will have the most wonderful relationship, you've already got such a great start on it! I feel so totally blessed by all my daughter-in-laws, I truly couldn't have asked for any better. I never had a problem just accepting them as my own kids, and maybe they sensed that total acceptance, because we've yet to have a single misunderstanding or problem.
Enjoy your new daughter!! :) :)

Oh Karla, that is exciting news!!! You will be great as a MIL...I have to say that I loved mine dearly. We were best friends until the day she died at 94 yrs. old! She never made any assumptions about our lives...she just loved me because I loved her "baby"....just like you are doing with Justin...so no worries...you will be great!

Congrats, and coming from my perspective (I am parentless, and have been since I was a child), all I can say is you are doing the right thing!!!!! I have wonderful in-laws who treat me like their own, and it's wonderful!!!!! I am glad you like her, and accept her. I've had situations where parents didn't want me around...not from the right background I suppose.

I wish your son and his DBTB (dear bride-to-be) all the best for a very happy future together!
