I'm so excited, I could scream (but then I'd wake the neighbors)

As an Aussie who worked in the book trade for many years. WELL DONE. I know exactly how hard it is for any writer to get published. I am not very familiar with the workings of magazine companies, however, this is really excellent. It bodes well for your future. So jump up and down, celebrate, go crazy...but get back to writing, don't stop, don't give up and submit, submit, submit.
Oh, I almost forgot...as we are quilters...isn't there a quilt with this story/theme/magazine, just waiting to be put together. I mean, Roald Dahl used a hut with a blanket writing board etc. Maybe our Lady Shivesa needs to make a literary quilt?
