How far is "go a piece" for distance?

How much is "a dab"? Is a "dibby-dab" more or less than "a dab"?

I don't know about those, but I tried and tried to convince DH that a "couple" means two, exactly two, and is not the same as "a few."

A while means whenever I get ready to do it. Go a piece is about five minutes walking. A dab is less then a lot but more then a little.

A while and a dab are the only ones I am familiar with. A while is 'in my own sweet time', and a dab is a bit more than a pinch. Season to taste for me is add a pinch of salt. My hummingbird tongue doesn't like much!

Then how about the number of times you are told on the phone,
... "Just give me a second"
...... or "I'll just be a minute"
.........or "I'll be right back to you"
Only to be left on hold for ........... how llllllllllong??

How 'bout a tad, a skosh, a dash, or "un poquito"?

A while…about an hour. Go a piece….half mile to a mile. A dab ….just a smidge. A dibbly dab….twice as much as a dab. season to taste…..no salt in any recipe until it is on the plate.
Is your dollop, a heaping tablespoon or other?
