Default Input on a Cricut

I'm thinking of getting a Cricut Air 2 for myself for Christmas and just needed your input. I don't scrapbook, so that's not what I want it for. I do a lot of applique and want to do some vinyl things. Do you like yours (pros, cons)
I have looked on Amazon and they have it for 199. just the machine. They have some bundle package deals too.
Would you do a bundle deal or just buy one from joann's (same price and just buy the extras there when on sale?
Would you buy a Cricut or something else? I really don't want to go much higher on price as I don't know if i will use it that much. And, is it user friendly? Opinions needed and greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Will you need the items included in the bundle? It might be a better deal if you will need them down the road.

Have you watched videos of the machine? Other brands?

I don't have on those machines but just some things to consider.

our public library has one. you just have to buy the film to use it. call there, and save yourself $200.
See if your library has one.

This would be a great way to trial if you like the product, and if you'll use it before investing your own money! Great suggestion!

I have a Cricut and I LOVE it! But I scrapbook and make cards a lot and haven't tried using it for fabric or quilting. Good luck!
