Hancock's fabric had a free pattern called Odyssey of Colors which was the very same as Blooming Nine Patch. It's not on the website anymore as it was free in 2004! Someone may have that printed out or saved, you never know. I've changed computers many times since then so my file was lost. There are many quilt blogs that have this pattern shown with enough info to make one without the pattern.

Interlibrary loan is a wondeful way to find a book that your local library does not carry.
If your library system is online, you can do all the searching from the confort of your own computer.
Many times it's free or very low cost.
